We start Sunday Morning with the study of the Bible. Pastor Jemuel Selorio will lead you in a systematic study of the word that will equip you and keep you grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Morning Celebration Worship Service
Join us every Sunday Morning as we gather in worship and praise. Pastor Marcelo Earl Patino and select speakers will challenge you through life changing messages. The presentation of the Bible will lead you to a deeper study of the Word that will inspire you and give you practical insight on how to live for God.
Satellite Outreach/Service
This is the practical side of applying what transpired in the morning services and allow you do outreaches in the streets, the mall, markets and home in the suburbs. Schedules for 2009 will be posted in the church calendar.
Mid-Week Service
Every Wednesday 7:00 to 8:00 pm Ninfa Alba Durbak teaches in the way that will challenge and inspire you to live a life of greatness for God. She will show you ways and means through practical illustrations and examples on how to live practical, Christ-like life.
Praise & Worship Team
They are a band of men and women bonded in love and unity with one the goal of glorifying God in their lives, their songs and their musical instruments. They meet on Friday night at 6:30 pm for practice and for prayer before the Sunday Morning service.
Tagalog Ministry
Our Tagalog ministry is headed by Pastor Jemuel & Judith Selorio. This activity is to be incorporated to the Satellite Outreaches.
Men & Women’s Ministries
Men and Women are encouraged to be a part of our Men’s and Women’s Discipleship meetings held in different Praise Chapel churches. There will also be local group meetings; please refer to the church calendar for details.
Home Bible Studies
Our Home Bible Studies are held throughout the week. There are three groups: one led by Pastor Earl Patino, one led by Pastor Jemuel Selorio, and one led by Sis. Ninfa Durbak. Locations and time are posted on the monthly church calendar.
New Convert Class and Membership / Enhancement Training
This will be implemented soon as the curriculum is available. New converts will join the new convert’s class, and discipleship - both men and women - are encouraged to be a part of Church Membership
Class.
This started as Hallelujah Night and now renamed as a Night of Praise. It is an hour and a half of non-stop singing of gospel and spiritual songs unto the Lord, and is scheduled on the last Saturday of the month from 6:00 to 7:30 pm.
Recreated
With the motto “Recreating ourselves to be more like Christ”, this youth encounter is for all the Praise Chapel youth groups in the Bay Area and Solano county. It is scheduled every other month on Friday evening at 7:00 pm. The schedule for 2009 Recreated will be posted in the church calendar.
Kid’s Praise & Worship
This for young kids who love to sing for the Lord. They are next line of praise and worship group in the church. They are mentored by Judith Selorio on vocals, Elmo Alba and Arne Patino on musical instruments, and coordinated by Sis. Ninfa Durbak.
Tambourine Dance
This ministry was started three years ago by Donna Garcia through the efforts of the Children’s ministry under Ninfa Durbak. The dancers have grown and continue to dance, but there is always room for the younger ones to join the ministry.
Kid’s Marching Band
The newest ministry for our kids, they are taught with individual instruments like flute, lyre, bongos, drums, keyboard and maracas. Band master Elmo Alba leads this group, with the help of Larry Garcia and it is coordinated by Ninfa Durbak in the Children’s department.
Teens For Christ (TFC)
They are a group of High School and Middle School youth that meet on the last Friday of the month at 7:00 pm. The 2009 TFC Youth activities will be fosted the church calendar.
Tract Distrebution Outreach
This is our heartbeat – reaching out in evangelism to the streets and homes, passing out gospel tracts and reaching out in personal evangelism on Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30 am. The 2009 schedule is posted in the church calendar.
Prayer and Intercession
A group of prayer warriors in the church meet regularly on Monday mornings at 9:00 am and on last Friday of the month at 9:00 pm. This group will be expanded into home and hospital visits for the sick. You can contact Teresita Aragon or Teresa Ayson with any prayer concerns. Come and join us in prayer in the church or where you are as we take time to get hold of God individually and corporately.
